So each year, they try to figure out what flu variant will go around, then the
cultivate that flu variant in eggs (hence the warning about egg alergies when you get your flu shot) then make teh vaccine out of that.
They basically inject you with the weakened or dead flu viruses. So they actually give you the flu, and you will show flu symptoms for a bit.
We have the same problem with socialized medicine in Canada. Government groups determine who gets care and what costs are acceptable. The only people who laud their "free healthcare" are idiots and those who are lucky enough not to need it yet.

I would get "sick" for a bit (for me, that's just low energy for about 6 hours).I would guess it depends on the strain of the flu that year.
