    Mageia 9 is working 100% well on my computer. How long will it
    receive security updates? I tested Mageia 10 Alpha 1 and was
    frustrated that I couldn't install TDE Trinity on it.

    The Mageia websites says Mageia 9 will receive update for a
    minimum of 3 months after Mageia 10 is released. That will
    include security updates.

    Mageia 10 Beta has been made available, but how soon the
    regular version will be available is uncertain.

    Did you report the problem with TDE Trinity on 10 ?

    You're very lucky, on installing Mageia 9 after no mroe security updates
    for 8, I had the following bugs introduced (NONE by Mageia)...

    - Can no longer type a programme name in the start menu (KDE). No
    suggestions to get it to work have worked.

    - GIMP introduced a serious bug (for me), and I've not been able to edit
    any photos for years since the install of Mageia version 9 (Flatpack for latest version created another problem but the bug I ran in to was fixed
    (I helped test it), Mageia didn't roll GIMP 3 despite it being now
    pretty old).

    - KdenLive has removed import / recording of video from MiniDV cameras / Firewire.

    - Ability to rip DVD has been removed by Mageia (DVD::RIP)
