  • Synchronet BBS web front end splash screen not showing ANSI colors

    I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. The .ini file has it pointing to synch.ans file in the text subdirectory. I've checked to make sure it is properly ANSI encoded, and it is, but it won't show ANSI colors until the user hits the connect with telnet button, and then things work properly. I am at a loss why it doesn't display properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    So, it seems that I managed to solve the problem, and it had to do with PabloDraw using the newer ^A encoding, which seems to work fine everywhere on the BBS, but for some reason, on the splash screen telnet interface for the built in web client, it needs to use the older ECMA-48 ANSI and CP437/ASCII encoding. After a lot of talking with AI, I found that Moebius encodes that way correctly. So, now the web client is up and running. I haven't announced it to anyone else, yet, so you can be the first to take a look! http://partybowlbbs.ddns.net:8080/
