    There is a big pause still between selecting Yes to the "Search all
    groups for new messages?" and the progress indicator starting.

    I had the same problem about a year ago, but it went away with an update. Odd.

    This is related to a brand-new progress indicator I just added yesterday..

    Understood - What I meant was doing a semi-regular download of
    sbbs_dev.zip and ssbs_run.zip, and replacing my files.
