    i'd rather have diet soda. regular soda has a pound of sugar in it.

    I thought about that when I ordered a diet coke at a restaurant. It
    came with a lemon wedge. Partly, I'm sure, to make refills easier, but
    I'm old enough to remember saccharrin sweetened drinks and how off they
    tasted. The lemon was to mask the off-ness.

    I'll just stick to a Fresca.

    isnt that lemon wedge just something restaurants do?

    there are many drinks that still use saccharin.
