As a new sysop to Synchronet (2 Years) I have enjoyed all aspects of the community.

I appreciate that all are welcome to participate without creating a walled garden.

The documentation is great but sometimes I can't find stuff even if it's right infront of me, sometimes I just use it as an excuse to be able to talk to you all.

Every time I've asked for help I have always received it, my time here has been a very enjoyable experience.

Thankyou to all in this community for creating such a unique and enjoyable experience.

The best way to learn is hands on. Get in there and do it and then search the docs and hammer it out. that's what i had to do years ago. I even had to learn how to do things my way to get what i wanted done.

Eventually I became the equivalent of a god in bbsing, and everyone was
jealous of me. I laid waste to all my enemies.
Now I am no longer a god, just a deity.

This from the loser who, just a week ago, failed completely when
attempting to upgrade to SBBS v3.20.

That was even after posting a series of n00b-questions here and ignoring
the advice given.

i have literally made people stop bbsing, even though there is no concrete proof after 24 years and many more in the dialup age.
